PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Film

Director, “Enjoy It”

This personal-visual narrative documents the life of a 21-year old grandson, the primary care giver to his Alzheimer’s-affected grandmother, as they make her life-long wish possible: To be born, live her life, and die in her home. Footage spans a thirteen-month period beginning in 1995 in Western Pennsylvania. Through a series of images, letters, and familial artifacts we connect contemporary footage along with analog imagery to create a mix of video and photographic style, which illustrates the process of aging through these inherent contrasts. The film aspires to reinforce the significance of kindness, personal sacrifice accompanied with humor. Currently in editing stages with original score, the film is scheduled for completion before I die.
